K9 Security Methods Limited is a limited liability company founded by the Managing Director Mr. Damian Rezende.
We were incorporated in 2004 and received our recognition as a Private Security Agency from the Ministry of National Security in 2006. The primary focus of our company initially was the provision of a high quality canine service specifically in the area of contraband and explosive detection. However, over time and as a result of an increased demand, we evolved into a service provider, offering a complete range of security products and services. Our work force currently stands at One Hundred and Fifty (150) Officers.
We believe that in order for a quality service to be delivered, we must understand our Customer’s needs and create a proper job fit with our officers assigned to our customer sites. This will ensure a proper synchronization between our service delivery and our customer’s operations. Customer care is our paramount concern.
It is our belief that Intelligent Service, Effective Protection and Instant Response is what differentiates K9 Security Methods from other service providers in the market place. In order for us to achieve this objective, our recruit selection process plays an integral part of our service delivery, as well as our Field Supervision.
Management Team
Our management team upholds an open-door policy with both our customers and staff, ensuring everyone stays well-informed and up-to-date with our operations. This ongoing communication allows for timely interventions in the operational process, guiding supervisors in their daily tasks as needed.
We encourage direct feedback from our customers, offering alternative channels for them to communicate any concerns they may have, directly with the top managers.

Mr. Damian Rezende
Managing Director
Mr. Rezende, the Founder of K9 Security Methods, boasts over 27 years of experience in the security industry. His extensive background includes work both locally and in Canada, where he earned the designation of Certified Security Officer and is licensed as a private investigator by the Office of Canadian
Municipal Law Enforcement. Mr. Rezende also serves as an Estate Superintendent of Police under the Supplemental Police Act 15:02 and holds a Certificate of Competence in Weapons Handling. Additionally, he is the President of the Trinidad and Tobago Kennel Club and the German Shepherd Association of Trinidad and Tobago.
Mr. Alan Cabral
General Manager
Mr. Cabral is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in leadership roles across various industries. With a strong background in Information Technology, he has held senior management positions in both local and international conglomerates. He served as the Country Manager for Dell International headquartered in Texas and Anixter International in Florida.
Additionally, he was the General Manager of the Caribbean Chemicals group of companies in Trinidad, overseeing five companies in different sectors, demonstrating his versatility in diverse business environments.
Furthermore, Mr. Cabral has been a Director at K9 Security Methods since its inception 20 years ago, providing invaluable leadership and advisory support in the Security business arena, throughout this period.
Mr. Dewan Balgobin
Administration & Accounts Receivable
Mr Balgobin has over 18 years of security experience which comprises of Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Security Management.
Mr. Balgobin joined our team in 2018 and has been a great asset to our organization.
