The long-term success of K9 Security Methods Limited depends on our ability to continually improve our services while protecting our people. 

As we conduct our operations, we must ensure we maintain our focus on the health and safety of our employees as well as the security of our staff in the locations in which we are working.  This commitment is in the best interests of our customers, our employees, our sub contractors, as well as our shareholders.

K9 Security Methods Limited requires the active commitment and involvement in the Health, Safety, Security and Environment programme from all employees and sub contractors. Line management has a leadership role in the communication and implementation of, and ensuring compliance with, Health and Safety policies and standards. K9 believes we have minimal impact on the environment, however, the management will continually review and monitor operations as they pertain to environmental impact. Management will cooperate with other organizations that have developed environmental management programmes when we work on multidisciplinary projects and at our client’s sites. In the event that a client or if we work on projects that require response plans or drills we will either develop or work with the site controlling. K9 will cooperate with our clients for all audits including the environment.

• K9 will comply with all relevant legislation and seek to incorporate international best practices where applicable.
• K9 will develop a safe working system designed to prevent incidents and report and investigate all Health and Safety accidents.
• Set Health and Safety objectives, measure results, assess and continually improve processes, and services through use of an effective management system, training and drills.
• Plan for, respond to and recover from any emergency, security event, crisis and business disruption while providing safe working conditions and equipment.
• Consult and communicate openly with all stakeholders including employees and ensure an understanding of our Health, Safety and Security policies, standards, programs and performance.
• Reward outstanding Health and Safety performance.
• K9 will strive to indentify hazards and make every effort to control risk where practicably reasonable.
• Training and competency will be an integral part of our business plan but specifically as it pertains to the Health, Safety, Security and Environment Program. 
• We will seek to provide safe handling and transport of any substance harmful to people or the environment.

This policy shall be annually reviewed to ensure ongoing suitability and effectiveness. The commitments listed are in addition to all applicable laws and regulations where we operate. This is critical to our business success because it allows us to systematically minimize all losses and adds value for all our stakeholders.
